Military aviation requires effective wash and rinse ground support. Corrosion costs represent nearly 25% of the USAF maintenance budget — or upwards of $ 3 billion annually. Post flight rinsing an aircraft with clear water is one of the most effective methods for removing contaminates, salt, or sand that contribute to corrosion. Riveer offers a complete line of low pressure, high volume systems for washing and clear water rinsing fixed wing and rotary aircraft of all configurations, giving flight line personnel, crew chiefs and maintenance departments the tools they need to combat this costly and highly damaging foe.
Shown below are a few of Riveer’s aircraft wash and rinse systems. For more information, visit the Riveer Aviation website.
Riveer Birdbath is an automatic Clear Water Rinse System (CWRS) which allows the pilot to taxi through the system before returning to the flight line. The CWRS process takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to complete, then the wash water is reclaimed, filtered and reused in future rinses.
The Riveer Aircraft Rinse Cart (ARC) — designed in conjunction with the U.S. Navy — meets (and surpasses) the criteria for aircraft rinsing performance in harsh environments and remote airfield operations.
Full Power. Hot Water. Rinse and wash. The Riveer Total Aircraft Washing System (TAWS) is the total package, producing high-flow rates that greatly reduce cleaning time while still effectively washing large surfaces.
